We are currently developing a lifting solution for the cruise ship industry. Andy has already been down to Dover last year and met the a firm that needs a solution for its and we are working with the owners to develop something very exciting indeed.
We were approached by a special agent that Andy met in a hotel after being found and impressed by our solar panel lifting bags. While Andy was OK with driving to Dover in the smallest hire car from hell, the 5:30am start, taking pictures in the dark, on the water, was not so cool.
With our expert knowledge in materials and Andy’s unique and inquisitive ways, we are confident that we can supply something that many cruise ships will want to adpot in the future. It’s through diligent questioning of the stevedores, users and quayside staff that we have understood the mechanics, dynamics and needs of everyone involved able to offer a new and exciting product.
It’s not just about the movement of goods, it’s how cool it looks too!
When the product is developed and tested it will be available here on the lifting bag website, as well as it’s own project website to be released in June 2012.
We don’t want to give too much away but thanks for reading and follow us on Twitter to see when the cruise ship goods quayside to deck lifting product is released.
